Media and Careers Event
To celebrate the launch of the Industry Spotlight Series in Canada, a media and careers event is being held at the Oasis Conference Centre on April 23, 2009.The inaugural industry in the ‘Spotlight’ will be the Natural Resources Industry in Alberta. The four platinum sponsors of the project are Talisman Energy, Pengrowth Corporation, Total E&P Canada and Finning Canada.
Industry Spotlight is targeted at Generation Y and is designed to encourage young people to think about careers and ensure informed decision are made when making subject choices.
The careers fair will be held within Oasis Conference Centre and will be an active participant in the event throughout the day. Companies who operate within the Natural Resources and Construction industries are being invited to exhibit. High School, college and university students will all be in attendance.
